A long time ago land was at a low price in some- part* of Texas. A traveler remarked that when there he could have bought a good little tt'act for a pair of boots. When asked why he did not trade, he said he didn’t have the boots. The concentrated force of the Alli ance can effect an improved financial policy of the government, and render the purchasing power of the farmer’s mean* greater than it now is. The same force* well directed can enable far mer* to hold one fourth of this year’s product, until one half a crop of the over produced staple is in the ground for the crop of 92; and an increased crop of home supplies.
