Kvery lawyer Itas treated me like a brother; the Sen. ator and Representatives have done like wise ; so have many of the citizens, and the Greenville News, proprietor and staff. I have examined bite the report and find that Mr. Maul din is satisfied with his present position. That his friends think the office of Sen* ator from Greenville county fully as hon orable as the office mentioned and that if he is not ts be Governor they would prefer keeping trim where he is.
