Fla. • • • • • f Legion Auxiliary Meets With Mrs. W. L. Goodale The American Legion Auxiliary of the James Leroy Belk Post, No. 17, met at the home of Mrs. Wm. L. Goodale, Greene street, on Friday afternoon, Jan. 13 at 4 o'clock with 40 members pres ent. The meeting was presided over by the Auxiliary president, Mrs. C. C. Jackson. Guest speaker for the afternoon was Attorney Har old W. Funderburk, who spoke on national defense and defense problems, which was most ap propriate as all civic organiza tions and clubs observed National Defense Week from Jan. 8-14. Following reports by committee chairman, delicious refreshments were served by the hostesses, Mrs. Goodale, Mrs. W. L. Jackson, Mrs. Austin Sheheen, Mrs. George Creed, Mrs. D. J.
