The rain did, how ever, probably keep a few people from coming to the game. McLourin Held Mondoy Afternoon In Protbyterion Church And Attended By Lorge Crowd Of Sorrowing Friends And Relatives The funeral of J. N. McLaurin, 64, was held in the Presbyterian church Monday afternoon, Juqe 27 in the presence of a large as semblage of friends and rela tives. The beautiful floral offerings paid a lovely tribute to the memory* of this noble character, who will be so greatly missed. Mr. McLaurin has lived his en tire life here, was a staunch mem ber and elder and life long super intendent of the Sunday School of the Presbyterian church and a member of Lynchwood Lodge. Masonic rites were held at the grave side. Some of those present for the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. B. K. Smith, W. R. Pursley, Fil- bert; Mrs. B. F. Armstrong, Char lotte; Mr. and Mrs. J. K.
