PhoiM 407 At Cancer Coarse | Health personnel from Kershaw county to be held at the Medical College of South Carolina in Charleston on January 21-22, it has been an nounced by Mrs. Kathleen B. Katts, Kershaw county diairman for the Smith Carolina division of the American Cancer Invited to attend the tw program are public health cers and nurses, health educators, nurses in industrial plants, can cer workers, and students of medicine, nursing and from Kershaw and all other coun ties of South Carolina. The course is promoted an nually by the South' Carolina division of the American Cancer Society and the Cancer Control division of the State Board of Health. The course is open to all interested and qualified persons, without charge. A few of the speakers to be heard by the Kershaw county residents attending the course will be Dr. Ben S. Wyman, direc tor of the State Board of Health; Dr. F. E. Kredel, professor of surgery and acting director of the Medical College. State 'Cancer Clinic, and Dr. K. H. Lynch, dean of the Medical College and pro fessor of pathology. Exhibits, movies, and clinical demonstrations. wH^ be used in presenting the course.
