She waa with the University of Miami, Fla., as librarian and also with the Char lotte Pnblie Library before serving with the American Red Cross at Camp Shelby. Misa. Later she bad a civil service position at Quan- tanamo Bay, Chiba, for a yaar. Colonel Capehart received tafa B. S. in chemical engineering from the University of Sooth Carolina and waa with International Paper Ckimpany In Georgetown before en tering the Marine Cbrpe. He served In the Pacific and Asiatic tbeatera and with the Army of Occupation In Japan.
