In the announcement of the new ownership, it is stated that the company will be at the Central Filling Station, next door to the Redfearn Motor company garage on DeKalli atreet. N'ed Beard was affiliated with his father -in the oU business for sev eral years before he went into the service -during the last war. After the war he returned to his father’s employment and has been with him the past two years. This experience has served to fit him for the exacting duties of manager of the new company. C. E. Watts, who has been in charge of the Sinclalre oil interests here for several years, will con tinue in the employ of Mr. Beard. Stating that all men between the ages of 17 and 28 who are physical ly fit and mentally alert are eligible for enlistmeat, the an nouncement emphasized the fact that all men 18 years of age and over no longer need the consent of their parents before being accepted for enlistment. Men 17 years of age otin are required to present the written consent of their parents or guardian before being accepted.
