This was in honor of two new members. Miss Frances Rhame and Mrs. Ned Beard (Meta Alexander). The table was beautifully decorated with spring flowers. Each member received her duties in connectoin with the Carolina Cup races and the plans for the annual tonsil clinic were discussed. The affair is to be sponsored by the Wqman’s Auxiliary of Grace Episcopal church and will feature 12 models showing gowns from The Clothee Tree and hats from the Hat Box- Tea will also be served during the afternoon. Davis, 62, who was instantly killed near Lancaster early Wednesday even ing when bis car left the road, was held in the Methodist church Thursday afternoon oy his pastor. Rev. J. V.
