Ba ruch, administrator, in his annual re port to the Board of Trustees and the members of the hospital.. This shows an increase over 1943, In keeping with the trend toward increased hospitali zation evidenced by people over the county. , “Camden Hospital last year treated 244 free patients for a total of 2793 days,” he said. "Only 1617 of the 1984 patients admitted during 1944- paid their bills in full. In addition to the patients, 467 were charged less than cost Put into monetary terras, this represents a cost of 134.636.50 to the hospital—made possible by Ker shaw County, Duke Endowment. Emergency Call For Wire Hangers For Service Men The Kfrshaw county chapter of the American Red Cross has received an emergency request for metal coat hangers to be used by service men 77ie Kershaw county ehapter haa been asked to donate between 1,000 apd 6.000 hanger! at once. The American Red Cross head quarters at Atlanta, has suggested that the school children be utilfsed as a means of gathering the metal hangers.
