He inade his home In Saluda coupty until about 30 years ago he moved to Kershaw . county, where he spent the rest of his life. Mr. Edwards was a member of the First Baptist-church In Camden. The deceased was married to Miss Amanda —^firpenTeF in Dec. 1897. F'uneral services'were held at his home gt DeKalb Wednesday after noon at 4 o’clock, conducted by Rev. J. B. Caston and Rev. Mr. Dabney. He was survived by seven nieces and five- hephews. This slashing back is only 17. Cox is the third of a fam ily of football stars and the same is true of Marshall. Ip each instance the brothers who preceded them on the gridiron path to glory are all in the service of Uncle Sam. We realize the value of these two.
