MACKEY GIVES LOVELY TEA PARTY One of the loveliest affairs of the Spring was the tea given by Mrs. Daniel B. Mackey at her home on North Mill street on Monday after noon. Mrs. Bnhnie McLaughlin gave an In- spring talk on “Women In Service.’’ She told them of the work done In the various branches of the service and particularly In the WACs, of which she was a member. She described the workings of the WACs step by step and explained Its importance. The Auxiliary voted to recruit three young ladles, during this nation-wide drive, from Kershaw county.
