Soldiers Flock To Local Dance Approximately thee hundred soldiers from out of the city took advantage of the Camden recreation center in the Kutledge etroet armory over the week end. Under the direction of Mrs. Mary Ella (iHHkln, a dance was given for the soldiers Saturday night and was at tended1.by over 100 couples. Sunday afternoon a roller skating party was offered and the armory was Jammed with skaters and spectators. It was estimated that fully 160 couples enJoyed the afternoon program. The visiting service men Included scores of soldiers from Fort Jackson, cadets from Shaw Field and the Southern Aviation school and a group of sailors from a Virginia port.
