A^fter the business delightful refreshments were served by the hostesses, Mrs. J. H. McLeod, Jr., and Miss Elizabeth Prescott. Bridge Luncheon Mrs. Wilson Beebo and Mrs. Paul Axtell were joint hostesses at a bridge luncheon on Tuesday morning at the home of the former on Chestnut street. After cards a delicious luncheon was served. High score prize was won by Mrs. A. It. Barrows; .floating prize by Mrs. Herbert Brady and consolation by Mrs. Jack Nettics. Mrs. James Clarkson, of York, moved to Camden Tuesday and is occupying the Burnet residence on Fair street. Miss Marty Harley has returned to her home in Barnwell after a visit to her sister, Mrs. John Dunbar, Jr., and Mr. Dunbar. Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Bassett will come down from Summit, New Jersey, to open their winter home about the tenth of February. Captalu and Mrs. Robert Rhame, of Fort Monmouth, N. J., announce the birth of a daughter February 1. The young lady has been named Judith Sill Rhame. Mrs. Rhame was the former Wilma Sill, of Camden. Mrs. H. H. Hyman, who has made her homo here for the past two years, leaves today for Charleston where she will Join her husband. Mr. Hyman is connected with the finance office of the War Department. Mrs. Hyman has been very active in civic 'affairs and a most faithful worker in J the Baptist church here. Hoilingsworth and Mrs. Luther Knowles. Junior. The girls will leave on Saturday for Daytoua Beach, Fla., where they will begin training in "W A AGs. The hostesses presented Miss Gwln and Miss Nelson with honor gifts. The party was held in the lounge rooms of the club Which were arranged with bowls of mixed flowers. She was graduated from Wlnthrop college and yrior to her marriage waa a member of tho Ay nor high achool faculty. Sergeant Faulketiberry is the eldest Hon of Mra. L. J. FaUlkenberry und the late Mr. Fai^lkeuberry of Korahaw. IIo received hla education from Kershaw high achool and Cleniaon college. Ho entered the army in April of last year and is now with the Field Artillery Division of Fort Sill, Oklahoma. The young couple will make their homo in I.awton, Oklahoma.
