VonTresckow were h0?|g Sunday afternoon from 6 to 8 o'clock. The party was given in honor of Mrs. VonTresckow's sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kershaw Shannon, who recently celebrated their golden wedding anniversary and sharing honors with them were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kennedy. Jr, whose 31 wedding anniversary was on that day. Major and Mrs. VonTresckow's 33 anniversary was also on the following day. The house and porch were beautifully decorated with garden flowers. On the porch Mr. and Mrs. John deLoach received with the honor guests, ""and among those present at the party was Miss Charlotte Shannon, who was a bridesmaid at Mr. and Mrs. Shannon's wedding. . Commander Heath Resumes Duties Commander Shannon Heath left Camden Wednesday afternoon foi Annapolis, Md., where he has been re called for duty at the Naval Academy Last Friday evening Mr. and Mrs Nettles Lindsay entertained with a small dinner party in honor,, of Commander Heath and Saturday afternoon a group of his friends were invited to a farewell party given by Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Whitaker, Jr., at "their lovely new home on Fair Street. While in Camden Commander Heath has taken an active part in the civic and philanthropic organizations here, and he has a wide circle of friends who hope that he will soon return to Camden to make his home. Large bowls of zinnias added to the attractiveness of the room. The hostess furnished electric fans to make all members more comfortable. The president. Mrs. C. H.
