Mrs. Charles Salmond and Miss Elizabeth Kennedy presided o<ver ! the punch bowl. Light refreshments were served during the evening. His father once owned the pond and property on which the Wateree mill Is now locatod. Walterboro Hotel Man Injured A l*. Coatello, proprltor of the W*U terboro Hotel, was fatally Injured at 6 o'clock Friday afternoon four ml lea from Kdtato Beach when his car left the highway and collided with a tree, lie had been spending the week at the beach and was on route to Walterbo ro when the wreck occurred. An eye witness stated that the car gradually left the hlghwuy and appeared to have been driven by an uncousolous driver, the opinion being expressed that Mr. -00810110 had suffered a stroke 'or had died suddenly ut the wheel. The car was a complete wreck and If the driver was alive he met death Instantaneously.
