Confession to a crime for which one man is serving a five-year sentence in the Atlanta federal penitentiary by an other who bears .surli a striking re semblance to the prisoner that eight persons could look at one and swear that he was the other, wrote a re markable chapter into the annals of the Atlanta Postoffice Division to* day. And u* a result the prisoner, Hugh Lee, charged with holding up and robbing a Georgia postoffice, is fac ing freedom, and his double, Will I!. Barrett, who made the confession, is held in the Fulton county tower. Both men are the same size, both have cross eyes, both have gold teeth, both have moles on the cheek, and the handwriting of both is'similar. ? It was in August, 1923, that the postoffice in Priors, (la., was entered and Charles Kite, the postmaster, held . up and robbed of a stack of money, order blanks. A short time later Hugh Lee was arrested in Virginia and brought back for iiia!. Light witnesses identified him as the man who committed the hold up. He was convicted and son tenced to five years imprisonment. Several days ago Barrett was taken into custody in Nashville on a state charge and there he told of the rob bery. 'Die following editorial by Frank H. Waggoner, entitled, "Thoughtless Town" appeared in its issue for Feb ruary. It is well worth reading and studying* "Do you know it% story and where it is?
