Mrs. James Nabors has re turned home after being a pa tient at Self Memorial Hospi tal, Greenwood. She is at home with her son Eddie Nabors. Brenda Spivey, daughter of Mrs. Delina Spivey of Gray Court spent last week with Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Spivey and family. David Spivey son of Mr. Delina Spivey, joined her for the weekend and Margie Spivey returned with Brneda to spend a week. Miss Martha Pitts has re turned home after teaching in Roch Hill. She is spending the summer at home with Mr. and Mrs. D. T. Pitts. Mr. and Mrs. Earle Johnson and son, Frank, have returned home after a visit with Lt and Mrs. Kenneth Johnson in Dayton, Ohio. While on the trip they drove on up to the Great Lakes. Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Todd have returned home after a weeks vacation at Jekel Island, they were accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Earle Todd and sons of Greenwood and Mrs. Earle Todd’s parents from Georgia. Greenwood Mills Vacation Pay Totals $885,872 Vacation pay to Greenwood Mills employes this year will total $885,872 for 6,033 people, the company announced today. Two percent of annual earn ings will go to 2,617 persons employed less than five years. Another 3,416 persons em ployed five years or more will get four percent of their annual wages. Greenwood Mills plants in Greenwood and Laurens Coun ties will close for vacation the week of June 28-July 4. Mrs. West (other obituaries, page 8-A) TAYLORS - Mrs. Be be Wil son Pruitt West, 36, wife of James West of Taylors, died Wednesday, June 17, in Greer. She was a sister of Mrs. Ola Mae Osborne and Mrs. Mar garet Russell of Joanna. Other survivors include two daughters, a grandmother, four other sisters. Funeral services were con ducted Saturday at McSwain Funeral Home in Newberry with burial in Bachman Chapel Lu theran Church cemetery near Prosperity. Legion Meets Next In Aug.
