CLYDE TRAMMELL, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Grady and sons, Steve and Rick and Francis Cooper visited Mr. and Mrs. Jon Koenig in Bicknell, Ind. over the weekend. Mrs. Koenig and son Steve returned home with her parents for a visit. Sgt. Russ File of Ft. Bragg, N. C. and Harrisburg, Penn, spent a couple of days with Art Sanders last week. They were together in Vietnam a few months back. Robert Dunaway left Sunday for nine weeks at Camp Old Indian, the Boy Scout Camp a- bove Greenville. He will train two weeks as a counselor be fore camp opens and then re main there for seven weeks as a counselor. Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Carver and family and Mr. and Mrs. Herman Fisher and family of Maryland spent Saturday with their uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Reece. Sunday guests of the Reece’s were S/ Sgt. and Mrs. Freddie Hanna and Matthew of Charleston and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Shook and Leslie of Saluda. Mrs. Ray HolsenbackofWare Shoals visited Mr. and Mrs. Charlie James Sunday. Mike Smith of Greenwood is visiting his grandmother, Mrs. Inez Smith. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne McHan and family of Tifton, Ga. were recent weekend guests of his mother, Mrs. Dale McHan. Mrs. Faye Medlock and s<« and Mrs. Jenny Medlock and children of Whitmire wereSun- day guests of Mrs. Alma Harvey. Miss Gloria Jackson is visit ing Lt. and Mrs. Jerry Kinard in South Dakota. They will ac company her back to Clinton and Joanna this week, following his discharge from the U. S. Air Force. Misses Sherry and Dell Campbell spent the weekend in Greenville with Mr. and Mrs. Jim Davenport. |ilrs. Bill Patterson, Mr. and M*. Benny Owens and Dwayne and Mrs. Callie Hamby have re turned home after a visit m Florida. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Car- roll and children of Memphis, Tenn., spent the past week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Satterwhite. Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Reece and Tommy and Miss Roberta Prince spent a recent Sunday in Charleston with S/Sgt. and Mrs. Freddie Hanna. Dr. and Mrs. Eldon Arm strong of Columbia were Fri day guests of her grandfather Mr. Earl Armstrong. Mr. and Mrs. Terry Fuller and daughter of Columbia visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Homer Fuller during the past week. They all visited Mr. and Mrs. Larry Fuller in Greenville one day. Mr. and Mrs. Cleveland Campbell spent a recent week end in Atlanta, Ga. with their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Mike CampbeU. While there they enjoyed going to Six Flags Over Georgia. Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. Campbell attended a Country Shindig in Greenville. Her niece, Teresa Lee sang during the perfor mance. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Tram mell and children of Anderson spent Monday of last week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Trammell. Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Kuyken dall visited Monday in Camden with her sister, Mrs. CarlRich- bnrg and Mr. Richburg and with their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Kuyken dall and their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Ancrum in Columbia. \ < Mr. and Mrs. Warren Goss and son of Tucker, Ga. spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Goss. Wells aid Jerry Goss accompanied their niece Joanne King to her h6me in Charleston on Monday flowing her visit of a couple of weeks here with her grand parents, the Frank Goss! WOMAN’S CLUB MEETING HELD On Thursday evening the Ly dia Woman’s Club met at the home of Mrs. Clyde Trammell for their May meeting. The devotional was brought by Mrs. E. C. Burdette. Mrs. David Word, president presided over the meeting. Miss Helen C. Camp, Ex tension Home Economist of Laurens was guest speaker. She gave a very interesting talk on food and nutrients and showed by posters how much of a dollar we spend on food and how we should use our foods to have a balanced diet. Mrs. R. E. Whitmire was welcomed as a guest and Mrs. Mary Fallaw as a new member of the club. Jello cake with strawberries and ice cream was served with cold drinks. CAMPFIRE GIRLS ATTEND CAMP Attending camp at Camp Greenville this week from Lydia are Misses Lizanne Wright, Nancy Bowling, Dianne Harvey, Marki Darby, Cookie Johnson, Wanda Phipps, Vickie Lawson, Tami Parrish, Debbie Moore and Tami Templeton. CHURCH OF GOD NEWS Revival services will begin June 10 at the Lydia Church of God to go through June 21 with services each evening at 7:30 p.m. Rev.
