The program will begin at 7:30 p.m. The order of business will be the Sword drill eliminations and the Speakers Tournament Those who will represent Lau rens Association at the Western Regional meeting will be chosen at this time. Mrs. Bagwell was Miss Margie Lusk before marriage. CLUB HAS SUPPER The Lydia Woman’s Club met on Thursday for their regular meeting and a covered dish supper. Mrs. Clyde Trammell wel comed the group of members with their guests, who were husbands of the members. Also Mr. and Mrs. Robert Vance, Rev. and Mrs. M. J. Sanders and Mrs. Jimmy Meeks were guests. After a devotional by Mrs. Trammell, Rev. Sanders gave the invocation. A delicious meal was enjoyed by everyone. The women of the Lydia Pres byterian Church will have their meeting March 6 at 7 p.m. The hostess for the March meeting wiU be Mrs. Ruth Jones, who resides at 39 Peachtree St in the Lydia community. The wedding took place at Gar den City Baptist Church in Orangeburg at 4:00 p.m. Jan. 26. The reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents. The couple honeymooned in Fla. However, there’s nothing wrong or improper about naming a boy William James II, if you really want to -- but even this is no ironclad guarantee against his being tabbed Junior by some peo ple.
