Training Meet Set
The Church Training Depart
ment of Laurens Baptist Asso
ciation will meet on Thursday,
February 27 at Rabun Creek
Baptist Church.
The program will begin at 7:30
p.m. The order of business will
be the Sword drill eliminations
and the Speakers Tournament
Those who will represent Lau
rens Association at the Western
Regional meeting will be chosen
at this time. It is hoped that
every church will be well repre
sented at this meeting.

rated. According to the latest statistics, she spends
only 2/3 of a year on the phone while her husband puts
in a full 12 months during a lifetime.

dial. Area Code 212 reaches New York, and Area Code

CLUB HAS SUPPER
The Lydia Woman’s Club met
on Thursday for their regular
meeting and a covered dish
supper.
Mrs. Clyde Trammell wel
comed the group of members with
their guests, who were husbands
of the members. Also Mr. and
Mrs. Robert Vance, Rev. and
Mrs. M. J. Sanders and Mrs.
Jimmy Meeks were guests.
After a devotional by Mrs.
Trammell, Rev. Sanders gave the
invocation.
A delicious meal was enjoyed
by everyone.

meeting March 6 at 7 p.m. The
hostess for the March meeting
wiU be Mrs. Ruth Jones, who
resides at 39 Peachtree St in

happily reconciled, patched up all
our differences, and have decided

wedding? ONCE AGAIN.

after a boy’s name does not mean
he is a junior at all. This usu
ally means he’s been named for
a living grandfather or uncle.

or improper about naming a boy
William James II, if you really
