C„ June IS, 1968 SEE DISASTER FILM — Members of the medical staff of Bailey Me morial Hospital Tuesday morning saw a film entitled ‘The Price of Survival", in preparation for a dis aster drill to he called in the Clin ton area the last week in June. The film will also be shown to others who will be involved in the drill and will be available to local civic clubs. He was employed for 35 years in Lydia Mill and was a member of the Old Timers Club and Hurricane Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Etta P. Duckett; a daughter, Miss Nellie Fay Duckett of the home; a son, Jerome C. Duckett of the home; a brother, Arthur Duckett of Nashville, Ark.; three half- sisters, Miss Sallie Ann and Miss Stella Duckett and Mrs. Forrest Benjamin of Wattsville; four grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be con ducted Thursday at 5 p.m. in the Hurricane Baptist Church by the Rev. J. C. Conoly and the Rev. J. H. Walker. Burial will be in Rosemont Cemetery. The body will be at the Gray Funeral Home and will be placed in the church at 4 p.m. Thursday. Services were conducted at Gray Funeral H me with burial in R sem >nt Cemetery. Mrs. McQuiston, widow of Her- bert Franklin McQuiston, was a matron at Thornwell Orphanage for IT years. She was a daugh ter of the late George Henry and Sarah Cleves Roseberry and was a member of First Pres byterian Church in Clinton. Survivors include three daugh ters, Mrs. George (Ruth) Williams Jr. of Valdese, N.C., Mrs. I. Mac (LaVerne) Adair of Clinton and Mrs. T. H. (Margaret) Coker of Columbia; two sons, W. H. McQuiston of Henderson, Ky., and L. H. Mc Quiston of Springdale, Ark.; two sisters, Mrs. M. S. McFerrin and Mrs. Emma McQuiston of Rosemark, Term.; six grand children and two great-grand children. J. H. Entrekin ANDERSON - James Hampton Entrekin, 63, father of the Rev. Furman Entrekin of Clinton, died Tuesday, June 4, at 4 p.m. Funeral services were con ducted Thursday, June 6, at Tay lor Memorial Pentecostal Holi ness Church with burial in New Silverbrook Cemetery. Other survivors include his wife, another son, two daughters and 10 grandchildren. Mrs. Morton WOODRUFF - Mrs. Jessie Bradbury Morton, 82, mother of Clarence Morton of Clinton, died Wednesday, June 5, at a Spartan burg hospital. Funeral services were con ducted Thursday, June 6, at Nnrthside Baptist Church with burial in Bethel Cemetery. J. L. Broad St., died early Wed nesday morning at Bailey Memorial Hospital after several months serious illness. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. R. B. (Elizabeth)Currence, Releigh, N. C.; Mrs. James R. (Agnes) Kelly, Newberry; Miss Anna Mae Corley of the home; four sons, CharlesB. Corley, Jr., Canaan, Cunn.; Thomas Allen Corley, Clinton; James D. Cur ley, New Orleans; and William D. Corley, Greenwood. She is also survived by four sisters, Mrs. J. S. Bozwell, Manning; Mrs. Claude Sperry, Spartanburg, Miss Louise Davis, Rome, Ga.; Mrs. James Lind sey, Manning, and three brothers, P. W. Davis, Winston Salem, N.C., Wofford Reid, Newberry; and Allen Davis, Charleston; 18 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be con ducted Thursday at 2:30 p.m. by Rev. E. W.
