Turner, Mrs. J. H. Coleman attended the Greenwood County “tour of homes* on Wednesday. On Wednesday evening the choir of the First Baptist Church sponsored a covered dish supper at the church. About 50 persons were present. Mrs. B. F. Plyler is at her home in Monroe, N. C. Among the seniors of the com munity who will be graduating from high school soon are Jane Boyce, Jimmy Noffz, Robert Whiteford and Marvin Lynch from Clinton High and Ernie Segars from Laurens High. Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Segars and Lindy visited relatives in Mt. Carmel recently. Mr. H. F. Bishop is ill in Bailey Memorial Hospital. Mrs. J. B. Cole attended the Postmaster’s Convention in Charleston last week. Mrs. M. C. Pinson has returned from a visit to relatives in Orangeburg. Friends and relatives were saddened by the death of Mrs. Sallie Davenport Watts in Brad enton, Florida, on Wednesday. Funeral services were held in Palmetto, Fla., on Thursday and graveside services were con ducted here at Liberty Springs i on Saturday morning.
