Five clinics in Greenville, Florence, Charleston, Spar tanburg and Columbia gave treatment to over 5,500 crip pled children in South Caro lina last year. What kind of treatment? Froser Helps Emory To 12-1 Soccer Season ATLANTA, GA.—A1 Fraser, Emory University student from Clinton, AL C„ helped Emory’s soccer team p3Je up a 12-1 victory recard .dUring the soccer season .recently completed. The la&t game was a 2-1 win over Vander bilt. Fraser was a forward for the Emory Eagles during the Season. Soccer Coach Tom Johnson caHbd the team “the best balanced in Emory’s nine- year intercollegiate soccer history.” Laurens County had the most forest fires of any coun ty in the Newberry Forestry District during November. There were 11 forest fires in Laurens County and 65 acres were burned. Green wood County ranked second to Laurens in number of fires with seven, losing 10.9 acres. In Chester County, 53.9 acres were burned in six fires. ' Other county totals for the district, which lost 190.3 acres in 43 fires are: Abbe ville (one fire, burning two acres); Edgefield (four fires, 11.6 acres burned); Fairfield (six fires, 32.6 acres burned); McCormick (three fires, 3.5 acres burned); Newberry (two fires, two acres burn ed); Saluda (three fires, 8.8. acres burned.) “During the Christmas sea son -We think the public ap preciates hearing how much good its tax dollars spent on health have done the young er generation,” Dr. E.
