He was pastor of this church some 14 years ago for a number of years. Mrs. Troy Watts accompanied Mr., and Mrs. Frank Simpson and family to Florence for . a week-end visit with her daugh ter and son-in-law, Mr. and ifrs. James Burgess. Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Chapman visited in Greenville Sunday.. Dr. Ruth Stokes accompanied by her niece Miss Frances Stokes of Washington, D. C. spent two weeks in Florida recently with friends at St. Petersburg. There last Friday Dr. Stokes’ nephew and family, Mr. and Mrs/Rich ard Stokes and daughter, Betsy, of Bennettville visited her for the day; Mrs. Janie C. Burris, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Young, Jane and Frank visited Mrs. Paul Cole man and family in Ga. during the last week-end. Mrs. Keith Leonard of Spar tanburg visited Mrs. Roy Adams Saturday. Recent visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Troy Watts were Kiev, and Mrs. Wayne Wiggins of Easley. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bannis ter and family spent Sunday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. McClain in LaFrance. Mrs. Gaymon Waterloo — Mrs. Mamie Arn- ette Albert Gaymon, 70, died Sunday at 1 a. m. at a Green wood hospital after several years of declining health and an illness of one week. Bom in Thomson, Ga., daugh ter of the late Mr. and Mrs James Arnette, she lived in Waterloo for' toe past 40 years and was a Baptist. Her husband Richard Gaymon, died in 1944. Surviving are two daughters Mrs. Lois Olson of Norfolk Va.j and Mrs. Nellie Sprouse of Miami, Fla.; three sons James Albert, Roy Lee and Richard Gaymon of Waterloo; brother, Cleve Arnette of Hope Ark.; and two grandchildren. Funeral services were con ducted Monday at S p. m. at Harley.^Fnneral Home by Rev Floyd D. Chandler.
