Broad 833-1487 James Victor Hunt, 81, died early Sunday morning in a Co lumbia hospital after several years of declining health. A native of Jefferson, Ga., son of the late Jackson Oliver and Martha Washington Webb Hunt, he lived in Laurens County the past 31 years and was a mem ber of Bailey Memorial Metho dist Church. His wife, Mrs. Ves ta Sorrells Hunt, died in 1952. Surviving are a son, James Oliver Hunt of Clinton; a daugh ter, Mrs. Minnie Hunt Skipper of Union; a brother, Roy Hunt of Pelzer; two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Jenkins of Ware Shoals and Mrs. Lottie Barton of Greenville; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services were con ducted Tuesday afternoon at Bailey Memorial Methodist Church by Rev. J. Thomas Mil ler and Rev. LeGrande Adams. Burial was in Rosemont ceme tery.
