They also attended the funeral of Mr. Brazill’s aunt, Mrs. Wof ford. Miss Sybil Windsor of Win- throp College visited with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Windsor Sunday afternoon and attended the program at Bailey Memorial Methodist Church pre sented by a group of Winthrop students. Ray Snider of Charleston spent the week-end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Snider. Mrs. S. P. Dye of Spartanburg is spending some time with .her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. David Owens. Mrs. Joanna Robinson and Dewey Wyatt of Spartanburg visited Mr. and Mrs. David Ow ens during the week-end. Mr. and Mrs. Coley Campbell and Mrs. E. J. CHURCH NEWS A group of young ladies, rep resenting the Wesley Foundation from Winthrop College, Rock Hill had charge of the evening services at the Bailey Memorial Methodist Cuhrch Sunady night, March 22nd. After the services the guests and members were in vited into the church social hall for a fellowship hour. Y. W. A’S MEET The Y. W. A’s of the Calvary Baptist Church met at the home of Miss Velda Farmer on Mon day night March 18th After a business discussion, a program and devotional was given. The hostess served a salad plate as refreshments. WITH THE SICK Mrs. Annie Sloan has been seriously ill at the Bailey Memo- rial Hospital. Mrs. Lib (Bill) McLendon has been a patient at Bailey Memo rial Hospital with injuries re ceived in an auto accident.
