Sanders attended the annual Laurens Baptist assoc iational meeting at Rabun Creek Baptist Church yesterday and Union Baptist Church today. Miss Harriett Wilson of Green ville, spent the week-end with her mother, Mrs. Virginia Wil son, and her grandfather, Coker J. Blackwell. Mrs. J. B. Patterson and Joe, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Barnes and Jimmy, Jr., were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Lawton in Orangeburg for a birthday dinner for Mrs. Lawton, daugh ter of Mrs. Patterson and sister of Joe and Mrs. Barnes. Mr. and Mrs. H. W. Williams spent the week-end with his daughter, Mrs. G. C. Parrish, Jr., and Mr. Parrish in Aiken. Mr. and Mrs. Lee McDaniel and daughter of Laurens, were Sunday visitors of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Boozer. Mr. and Mrs. Ira Bailey, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Bailey, Skeet, and Miss Faye Bailey have vis ited the former’s mother, Mrs. W. I. Bailey, Sr., on several oc casions since her illness and ope ration at the Anderson Memorial Hospital, Anderson. Mr. and Mrs. Perry Parrish, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Willard and Major Crawford were among those in Charlotte, N. C., for the auto races. Mrs. Jim Dean and Jimmy and Mrs. Wayne Nelson visited relatives in Columbia and New berry Sunday. Mrs. J. H. Seay and Miss Fero- line Seay have moved back to Clinton after residing in Green ville for the past three years. They are living on Thornwell Street. Those here Saturday with Mrs. Seay and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Trammell were Mr. and Mrs. James Seay and Mike, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Glenn, Keith and Deidre, Mr. and Mrs. Sloan Southerlin of Greenville, Mr. and Mrs. Royce Smith of near Lau rens. Mabrey were in Lau rens on Tuesday of last week for the funeral of Heyward Ertzber- ger. Bailey, Sr., is re cuperating at the Anderson Me morial Hospital, Anderson, fol lowing surgery last week. Ralph Riddle has been a pa tient at Bailey Memorial Hos pital several days. Mrs. R. E.
