Mrs. Fern Hardman is able to be at home after being a patient at Bailey Memorial Hospital. Gary O’Shields is at home after being a patient at Bailey Memo rial Hospital. Among patients at Bailey Me- moiral Hospital are Mrs. David Owens and Mrs. Claude Farm er. Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Downs were hosts for the Downs reunion Sunday at their home on Living ston Street. Lunch was served on tables decorated with summer flowers. Among those here for the occasion were: Mr. and Mrs. L. F. Downs and Ruth of West Columbia; Mr. and Mrs. Clar ence Downs, Beverly and Jan ette, of West Columbia; Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Coggins, Mr. and Mrs. Allin Coggins and Jerry, all of Greer; Mr. and Mrs. Austin Keller and Randa and Mrs. Lita Duncan of Spartanburg; Mr. and Mrs. David M. Coggins and De bear and Gary of Shreveport, La.; Mrs. Jennie Watkins, Mr and Mrs. Billy Watkins and Kim, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Holland, all of Clinton. Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Tom Brown last week were Mrs. Brown’s sister and sister-in-law, Mrs. Juanita Lovin of Newport, Term., and Mrs. James Paniter and children of Mobile, Ala. Mrs. R. T. White is spending some time in Jacksonville, Fla., with Mr. White while he is sta tioned there. Mrs. Margie Burgess and chil dren have returned to their home in Eatontown, N. J., after visit ing her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Snider. Cindy Burgess re turned with her mother, after spending the summer with her grandparents. Mrs. J. w. Campbell and Mrs. Ed Smith and children were visi tors in Greenville Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Smith were visitors in Greenwood last week. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Taylor, Lynn and Gordon have returned to their home in Greenville after spending the summer with Mr and Mrs. E. P. Taylor. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Sabens have returned from a four-year tour in Germany. Before report ing to Fort Meade, Md., they vis ited friends and relatives in Clinton. Among them were Mr and Mrs. W. E. McLendon. Friends of John H. Price will be interested to know he is now stationed at . Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. Mrs. Harry Foster and Teresa are spending some time with Mrs. Foster’s brother and fam ily at Lake Murray. Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Ficklin visited Mr. Ficklin’s sister, Mrs. McCoy, in Greneville last week. While there they also visited with J. H. Ficklin, who is ill. Troy Bentley is attending band camp this week with school bands at Camp Fellowship on Lake Greenwood. Mr. and Mrs. G. H. Major nn d children joined Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Patton in Calhoun Falls and Mr. and Mrs. C. D. Rose and family of Trenton at Lake Green wood for a family get-together Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Walker and children of Wichita Falls, Texas, Mr. Walker’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. R. Walker of Graham, Texas, have been visit ing relatives here. Mrs. Charles Walker is the former Betty Rol lins, daughter of Mrs. O. R. Rol lins. Recently all of Mrs. Rol lins’ children met here for a family get-together. They includ ed: Mr .and Mrs. Clarence Boyce and daughters of Greenville; Rev. and Mrs. Robert Rollins and family of Rockingham, N. C.; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Walker and family of Wichita Falls, Tex as; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Gallo way, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Spillers and sons, Harold Rollins and Conie, all of Clinton. HONORED ON BIRTHDAY On Thursday afternoon Rickey Burroughs was honored on his 11th birthday with a party at the home of his aunt, Mrs. W. R Thomas. Several children and their mothers were served birthday cake, ice cream, and drinks after an afternoon of fun and games.
