Blake ly and J. Ashby Galloway. Visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harwood Nelson the past weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Lyn- del Poe of Raleigh, N. C., and Miss Jean Nelson, who teaches in Charleston. Mrs. W. L. MarshaU, Jr., and Mrs. C. M. Bailey spent several days last week at Mount Pleas ant with their daughter and granddaughter, Mrs. Joe Cutch- in and family and at the Isle of Palms with Mrs. J. H. Cutchin of Easley. Don Rhame, student at the Medical College of South Caro lina, Charleston, spent the week end with his parents, Dr. and Mrs. D. O. Rhame. They also had as their guest Miss Alacia Lee, of Quitman, Ga., who at tends Queens College, Charlotte. Miss Elaine Addison, student at Duke University, Durham, N. C., was at home with her par ents, Mr. and Mrs. John A. Ad dison for the week-end. Misses Ginny Smith, of Greens boro College, Greensboro, N. C., and Charlotte, N. C., and Miss Diana Moss, of Converse Col lege and Columbia, were week end guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. Horne returned Sunday from two weeks active duty at Fort McClellan, Ala., and Fort Lee, Va., where he partici pated in Loges 61, which is held annually at Fort Lee. Friends of Mrs. George Bel- lingrath will regret to know she suffered a broken arm injury the past week. Mrs. D. O. Rhame has return ed from a several days visit in Bates burg with her sister, Mrs. James Murrah and Mr. Murrah. Mr. and Mrs. William Ander son, Mrs. Earl Stall and Mrs. Hal Poe of Greenville, were guests on Monday of ihe ir sister and aunt. Miss Ruth Bailey. Bill, who have been stationed at Fort Sill, Okla., are visiting the former’s parents at Joanna. They will leave May 25 for Fort Bragg, N. C., where Lt. Dobbins will serve with an artillery unit. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Line and sons of Atlanta, Ga., and Miss Florence Winn, who attends Ag nes Scott CoUege, Decatur, Ga., were at home for the week-end with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carlton F. Winn. Ferguson has re turned from a 15-day cruise to the West Indies and a visit with rela tives and friends in New York and New Jersey. She was accom panied on the trip by Miss Jean ette Ferguson, who she also vis ited in East Orange, N. J., be fore returning home. She was the guest of relatives and friends in Montclair, N. ATTEND CONVENTION Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Dixon were in Florence last week-end where they attended the South Carolina district convention of Civitan International and were guests at Holiday Inn. Mrs. Morgan Todd and Mrs. John Roseboro were in Gastonia, N. C., Thursday and Friday where they were guests of their niece and sister, Mrs. Everett Carson and family, going espec ially for Class Day exercises at Gastonia High where the Car- son’s son, Rhett, is president of the graduating class of 400. He presented the “Last Will and Tes tament” of the class at the exer cises Thursday evening. VISIT PARENTS Mrs. George M. Webb and chil dren, of Shelby, N. C., Mrs. I. L.
