Parrish, Sr. ABC and Mrs. Jimmy O'ShWds and Mike of Orlando, Fla., an spending several weeks with Ms parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. O’Shields, before his leaving for a tour of duty in Japan. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Case and granddaughter, Terris, of Lock hart, were Sunday visitors of Mrs. B. C. Bavis. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Trammell visited the latter’s mother, Mrs. J. H. Sgt. and Mrs. Mike Cassanova and children of Hampton, Ta Petty Officer and Mrs. DeVaughn CauMe and son of Millington, Tsnn., and Mrs. Laura Kepley of Salisbury, N. C., have returned to their homes after spending a tow days with Mrs. W. B. Caubk while Mrs. CauMe was seriously ill at Mays hospital. Other rela tives and friends visited her in the hospital. Miaaas Janice Goss, Shirley Quinton, Sandra Mills, Florence Rev Is, Judy Ellis and Linda Cor ley and Gary Sprouse are among the Clinton High School seniors who are on the annual senior trip to Washington, D. C. Mr. and Mrs. George Daniel, Jr., of Spartanburg, were Sunday supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Templeton. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gaffney visited their son, Mack, at Clem- son College on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Burdette were Sunday dinner guests of her mother, Mrs. W. S. Manning, in Iva. In the afternoon they attend ed the Compton-Phillips wedding at the Iva Baptist Church and reception following the ceremony at the home of the bride. Mr. and Mrs. David R. Coker and Marvin spent Sunday with . Mr. and Mrs. James Gaines in Laurens. Mrs. F. L. While [there she visited her son, Lee, at [ the veterans hospital in Atlanta, Ga.^ where he was a surgical pa tient. Friends will be interested to know that Lee is now recuperat ing at the home of his sister, Mrs. Boswell. Mr. and Mrs. Jo* Carroll and family of Pendleton, were Friday overnight guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Abercrombie. On Friday evening Mr. and Mrs. Carroll attended a session of the teachers meeting in Columbia. Mr. and Mrs. John Williams, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Williams of Chester, Pa., are spending this week with Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Riddle. Mr. and Mrs. Jack White and Misses Linda, Martha, and Beat rice White spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd White, Mr. and Mrs. Boyd White in Gaffney. Mr. and Mrs. Keith McGee and family attended a birthday dinner Sunday at the home of Mrs. Mc Gee’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Yarbrough, in Woodruff. The din ner honored Mr. Yarbrough, Mike Yarbrough and Mrs. McGee. Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Abercrom hie and Miss Ruby Birchmore visited Harold Clardy in the Gen eral hospital in Greenville Sun day, and Mrs. Clardy at their home. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Abercrombie. WOMAN'S CLUB MEETING The regular March meeting of the Lydia Woman's Club met on Thursday evening at the Com munity Building. Following the business mast ing the ladies went to the Clinton Mills Community Building where they met with the Clinton club for a very delightful session. REVIVAL TO BEGIN AT PENTECOSTAL CHURCH The Lydia Pentecostal Holiness Church will begin a series of vival services on Wednesday, March 80, to run through April 0. Rev. Ansel Boggs of Belton, will be the guest speaker. Services will begin each evening at 7:00 with the public invited. Rev. Roscoe Bryan is pastor of the host church.
