Mrs. Julian S. Bolick entertained with an informal tea on Tuesday ! afternoon from 5:00 until 6:30. Mrs J. B. Hart greeted the guests and the hostess and honoree receiv- j ed together. In the reception hall and parlor yellow roses and gladi oli were effectively used to accen-1 tuate the room decor. Entertaining iH, :he hall were Mrs James Addi son and Mrs. H. G. Tarfcox. Jr., of Georgetown. A five-branched crystal candel abra arranged in epergne effect with white tapers, roses shading from pink to deep rose, and clema tis adorned the tea table in the din ing room. On the buffet were two three-branched candelabra similarly arranged. Miss Lillian Hart served punch and assisting in entertaining in the dining room and serving assorted dainties, decorated cakes, nuts and mints were Mrs. W. A. Moorhead, Mrs T. C. Henderson, Misses Kathy Hart. Jennie Addison and Dixie Bo lick. H Shannon attended the hfunnon reunion held on Sunday at the Dehart picnic grounds near Newberry Those attending were greeted by Mrs Willie Mae Keighley, Mrs. ^ DeHart and Mrs Lewis D. Simpson. As the guests arrived lemonade 1 was served and at one o'clock a picnic dinner was enjoyed. Prayer was given by John Shannon Following dinner Mrs. Simpson, president, presided over the busi ness session, welcoming all mem bers and guests. The oldest and youngest members attending, Mrs. Keighley and Barrie Simpson Koon, were presented gifts. Sara Keighley was remembered with a gift in appreciation for plac ing flowers on the graves of Mr. and Mrs. Shannon. Token remem brances were sent to .Mrs W. J. Duncan and Mrs. R. H. Buford, sisters of Mrs. Shannon, who were unable to attend because of illness. Soaps were rung by the group ^nd a duet was rendered by Mrs. Lil lum Revis of Charlotte and Mrs Virginia Lawson of Greenwood Dunlap Orphanage I Studied at Meet Mrs George M atts Copeland was leader of the program for the Au gust meeting of the toterooon circle of the Associate Reformed Pro*- byterian Church, which was hdd on Monday afternoon.
