Oakley has returned home after several weeks visit with her son-in-law and daughter, Sgt. and Mrs. Scott Dawkins at Camp LeJeune, N. C. The Dawkins family accompanied her home for a ten-day visit. Terry, Dale and Steve Campbell of Charlotte, N. C., are spending a few weeks with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Burdette. Mrs. Campbell was here for the week-end. Mrs. Lillie Belle Miller spent the week-end with her sister, Mrs. Mea dors Minick, and Mr. Minick in Newberry. VISIT MISS BALLARD Mr. and Mrs. J. B. O’Shields, Mrs. John Crowe, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Ballard visited Miss Peggy Ballard at the General Hospital in Greenville Sunday. Mrs. Sara Shelnut, Mrs. Kat Bal- lew, Mrs. Bobby Whitlock, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Ballew spent Sunday at Lake Murray. Mr. and Mrs. H. N. Hughey and family were Sunday visitors of the formers’ mother, Mrs. S. H Hugh ey, in Spartanburg. Mr and Mrs. Frank Walker and family visited Sunday with her sis ter, Mrs. J. W. Wrenn, and Mr. Wrenn in Waterloo. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Prince have returned to their home in Marietta, Ga., after a week’s stay with his mother, Mrs. Sam Prince, and other relatives.
