Shields has re turned from a two weeks visit to friends in Georgia, where she at tended a number of performances of the Metropolitan Opera Company of New. York in Atlanta. Patterson has been on duty with the United States Navy in Spain since March of this year. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wil liam A. Patterson of 519 Mu&grove street. His wife, the former Miss Ruby Meadors, and small daughter reside with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James C. D Tommie. Home Ec onomics chairman, had charge of the program. The Grange joined the State and National Grange entering the Singer Sewing contest again this year.
