Stump, chair man of the Presbyterian College bi ology department, has had an ar ticle accepted for publication in the May issue of The Journal of Proto zoology. Tbe artkle, entitled :: Mitosis in the Rhizopod Lesquereusia Spiralis,” deals with the reproductive process of the small organism commonly called the shell amoeba. Illustrat ing it will be 14 sketches by Dr. Stump depicting the stages of re production by division of the nu cleus. This publication is the interna tional journal of the Association of Protozoology.
