Frank Man-ij ning conducting the series. Mr. Manning is pastor of the Central Methodist Church in Laurens. He will be preaching each evening through Friday, March 27. Howard Byers will lead congre gational singing. Special music will be provided each evening. Whitten Village senior choir will provide Easter music for the Sdnday eve ning service. There will also be quartet and solo singing, as well as choral music by the church choir on the other nights. Ministers in the community will assist at the services. Back in the day's when steam locomotives were generally used, the Timkin Foller Bearing Company had a special steam locomotive built to their specifications and equipped with their roller bearings. It was used for demonstration runs over many railroads, and was finally bought by the Northern Pacific Railroad. One of the pictures illus trating the story showed this huge locomotive being actually moved by three girl stenographers pulling it with a rope . In all machinery operation, both ball bearings and roller bearings are the most efficient. Of course, with any kind of bearing where moving parts are involved, proper lubrica tion is absolutely essential. The bearings in your automobile are skilfully designed, but as you well know, they must be regularly and properly lubricated. If we could apply the same scien tific skills in studying causes of friction in human relations by de signing and practicing means for reduction of friction, life would be su much better for all of us. Actually Almighty God has done! a magnificent job of designing hu man being*. We couldn't improve on them.
