Hipp is in Rock Hill with her son, Irby Hipp, her daugh ter, Mrs. Eugene Avery, and their families for the holidays. Mr. and Mrs. M. L. Campbell left earlier in the week to be guests of relatives in Prattville, Ala., for Christmas. Miss Agatha Bailey of Chester, Miss Mary Ella Bailey of Green wood, are at home with their mo ther, Mrs. T. L. W. Bailey. Join ing them for Christmas will be the Frank Bailey family of Green ville. Friends of Mrs. Eugene C. King win be glad to know she Is improv ing at home after being ft patient in the Columbia hospital. Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Knox are spending Christmas in Cliffside, N. C., with their son-in-law and dau ghter, Mr. and Mrs. James Tink ler. Mr .and Mrs. R. P. Skenes and small son, Ronnie, of Raleigh, N. C., Mi-, and Mrs. Gilbert Blakely of Savannah, Ga., visited their mother, Mrs. J. B. Speake, during the week-end. Friends of Gilbert will be interested to know he is be ing transferred by the Atlantic Coast Line Railway to Jacksonville, Fla., and they will move January 1. MRS.
