Alton Gresham, 54, died Friday night at the Joanna hospital after a short illness He was a native of Jones County. Ga.. but had made his home in Jo anna for the past 15 years He was a son of the late W'. Clifford and Mary E. Beasley Gresham. He at tended Joanna Baptist Church and 'Joanna Revival Center. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Vin- nie Morgan Gresham; four daugh ters, Mrs. Sidney Haiel and Mrs. Harold Long, Miss Joan Gresham and Miss Juanita Gresham, all of Joanna; three sons, William Thomas Gresham of Joanna; Hyland Gresh am of Washington, N. C.; and Frank Gresham of Joanna; one granddaughter; two brothers, J. T Gresham of Birmingham, Ala.; and Kelly Gresham of Raleigh, N. C.; two sisters, Mrs. E. M. Jackson of Burlington, N. WOMEN’S CLUB TO MEET The W’oman’s Club will meet on December 4 at 7:00 o’clock at the club house. The annual Christmas party will be held at this meeting. Joanna Sisters are asked to remem ber each other with a gift and please do not reveal your identity in the gift. A Christmas program is being planned also. All members are reminded that all dues must be paid at this time. Please be present to help decide on the summer trip. The executive board is in charge of the social hour.
