She carried a nosegay of gardenias. Following the wedding the bride’s parents entertained with a reception in the church parlor. During the evening the bride and groom left for a wedding trip to Fontana Village, N. C. For travel the bride wore a beige linen sheath trimmed with orange, black ac cessories and a corsage of garde nias. Mrs. Kenrick attended Mars Hill College and graduated in May at Winthrop College. Mr. Kenrick, a graduate of Presbyterian College, is a member of Sigma Nu Frater nity and holds a position with the State Highway Department. MRS. WARREN EUGENE KENRICK MISS TANEERSLEY AND MR. KENRICK UNITED HERE IN CHURCH CEREMONY Miss Margaret Belle Tankersley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Joseph Tankersley of this city, be came the bride of Warren Eugene Kenrick, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Frank Kenrick of North Augusta, at 4:30 p. m. Sunday in the First Bap tist Church. The double ring cere mony was performed by the Rev. J. H. Darr, pastor of the bride^ The altar was decorated with palms, pale yellow floral arrange ments and candelabra holding yel low candles. Wedding music was rendered by Miss Stella Hurst of Sumter, organ ist, and Bryan Coates of Charlotte, soloist. Oscar Frank Kenrick of North Augusta, father of the groom, was best man. The ushers were Monroe Case of Cayce. Reese Page of Flo- AJbert Tankersley of Augus- maid of honor, and Mrs. Monroe Case, sistef of the bridegroom, of Cayce, was matron of honor. They wore ballerina length gowns of white organza over yellow taffeta with round necklines and full pan eled skirts with yellow satin bow in back. The carried cascade bouquets of yellow gladioli. The bridesmaids were Miss Ann Bobo, cousin of the bride, of Tig- nail, Ga.; Mrs. George Everett of Rome, Ga.; Mrs Charles Bentley of Winston-Salem, N. C.; and Miss Eula Mae Mozingo of Columbia. Their dresses and flowers were identical to those of the honor at tendants Candace Case, of Cayce, a niece of the groom, was flower girf. Miss Tankersley A bridal luncheon for Miss Mar garet Tankersley was given on Sat urday by Miss Toni Nelson at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs Harwood Nelson on North Adair St In addition to the bridal attendants the bride’s mother, Mrs. R. J. Tank ersley was included in the guest list. Upon arrival guests were invited on the porch where appetizers were served. A three course luncheon was served in the dining room which was beautifully appointed in pink and white. Floral arrangement for the luncheon table, which was over laid with a white cut work cloth, was fashioned of carnations, snapdrag ons and baby breath. Silver cande labra held wedding tapers and place cards adorned with pink wedding bells completed the table arrange ments. Pink hydrangeas, carnations and snapdragons' in varied array deco rated other rooms in the home. The bride was remembered with a corsage and a gift of crystal Mrs. T. J.
