CLYDE TRAMMELL, Cttr-poad—i, Rspr—bUUvs MM Mrs. Russell Trammell, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Trammell and Ken TVammell accompanied Russell Trammell and Bobby Ginn to Greenville Saturday where they boarded a bus to go to their assign ed naval stations after a 14-day leave at home. Seaman Trammell was going to Monterey, Calif., and Seaman Ginn was going to Alame da, Calif. Mr. and (Mrs. Joe Corley and family were in Greenwood last week due to the death of her sister, Mrs. Harry Rhoden. Mr. and Mrs. Horace Carroll of Newberry, visited Mr. and Ms. Pes- ton Carroll on Saturday. Miss Rebecca Moore, student nurse at Spartanburg General hos pital, spent the week-end with her sister, Mrs. Paul Arnold, and Mr. Arnold. T-Sgt. and Mrs. Barry McLendon and daughter, Lisa, arrived last week from California for a visit with his mother, Mrs. Stella McLen don, and sisters, Mrs. Jim Bailey and Mrs. Coy O'Shields, before leaving for a three-year tour of duty in London, England. Bobby Fuller left during the post week for Beaufort where he will be stationed with the U. S. Navy. He had spent a 16-day leave with Mrs. Fuller and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bud Fuller, after completing the Hospital Corpsman School in Great Lakes, 111. Mr. and Mrs. James McElhaatnon and Miss Kathleen Dees visited Mrs. McElhannon’s father. Jesse Sam ples, in the Anderson hospital Sun day. Mrs. Bertie Davis of Union, Mr. and Mrs. Yancey Eubanks of Buf falo, spent the week-end with Mr and Mrs. Lester Davis. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Armstrong, Kenneth, Gene, and Sherry Arm strong were recent guests of M. and Mrs. Ernest Armstrong in Rock Hill, Mr. and Mrs. L. D. Hill, Mrs. Eula Quin ton, Tracy and Shirley Quinton, ac companied by Mr. and Mrs. Cla rence Dunaway and Buddy of West Clinton, on Sunday visited their daughter and sister, Mrs. Catherine Prince, who is a patient at the Co lumbia hospital. B Neal, president of the spon soring Lydia Mes s Club, presented a lovely plaque to the former cub- master, Horace Smith, for four years of service to Pack 90 L. F. Davis received 1us Bob Cat pin. The theme of the program was "Exploring Alaska." with each den having an exhibit.
