Bible School Continues The vacation Bible school at Ly dia Baptist church will continue through Friday, June 26, from 5 to 7 o’clock each afternoon. We are very proud to learn that Talmadge Hall, brother of Mrs. Ed ward Carroll, and graduate of Ab beville high school, won one of the Jaimes F. Byrnes 4-year scholar ships. He is planning to enter Erskine college in the fall. Mrs. Rosa Cole of Utica, N. Y., a former resident of the community, is visiting Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Neal and other friends for a few weeks.
