Centering the refresh ment table in the dining room was a silver bowl filled with lilies and other flowers of the season. .Sand wiches, nuts, cookies and punch were served during the evening. Miss Emily Parker of Aiken, and Jerry Spann of Greenville, were out of town guests for the dance. Study Club Meets With Mrs. Wysor Wednesday afternoon the annual open meeting of the Study club was held at the home of Mrs. Rob ert E. Wysor. Throughout the spacious home pink roses were used in profusion for de^&*atk>n°withp being effective on the living room mantel and other vantage points. During the afternoon guests were invited into the dining room where refreshments were served in buffet style from a beautifully appointed table, covered with an imported cut work and la<fe cloth and centered with an epergne of pink roses, blue forget-me-nots and white pinks. Joint Hostesses Fete Miss Griffin Miss Nancy Griffin, summer bride-elect, was honored Friday af ternoon with a party by Mrs. R. C. Adair and her daughter, Mrs. Claude Crocker. Several progressions of bridge were enjoyed during the af-ternoon with Mrs. Jasper Rowland and Miss Eloise Miller winning prizes. Arrangements of lilies, roses, glads and daisies were used in the receiv ing rooms. Sweet peas fashioned a centerpiece for the table. A salad course with open-face sandwiches and iced tea was served, carrying out the pink and white olor scheme. Small tables adorned with old fashioned nosegays of blue and yellow flowers were appointed for the guests. Mrs. Gary Lehn gave a dessert bridge the past week for members of her Wednesday club. Two tables were prettily appointed for re freshments and a sweet course was served prior to the games. Score awards for the progressions went to Mrs. Murphy Timmerman and Mrc. Marion Milam. A variety of roses with other floral arrangements were used in decora tion for the card rooms.
