open meeting of the Study club
was held at the home of Mrs. Rob

Clinton high school was given on
Friday evening at the armory & a
“Plantation Party".
Following the plantation theme the
stage was transformed into the porch
of a Southern Colonial mansion with
white columns entwined with ivy
and wisteria and a garden on the
main floor was enclosed with a pick
et fence with a trellis of roses. Small
tables adorned with old fashioned
nosegays of blue and yellow flowers
were appointed for the guests. Blue
Duth iris And yellow snapdragons
centered the speaker’s table and the
overhead was draped with stream
ers in the junior class colors. Floor
baskets of magnolia, the junior class
flower were also used in decoration.
A three course banquet was served.

found to be winner of club score
