Dinner Party Given Saturday Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. George Brockenbrough entertained with a dinner party at their home, “Capers Acres,’’ at Kinard. Magnolia was effectively arrang ed in the reception hall and in the living room bowls of roses with other flowers of the spring season were placed at vantage points. Din ner was served buffet in the dining room and small tables were laid for the guests. A number of out of town friends, and relatives from Spartanburg and Greenville were invited for the occasion. New Officers For Clinton Music Club The last meeting of the Clinton music club, until the fall season, was held the past Wednesday* in the au ditorium of Clinton high school. B and PW Club Installs Officers The May meeting of the Clinton Business and Professional Women’s club was held on Tuesday evening at Hotel Mary Musgrove. On Tuesday evening. May 5, a card party was given by Mrs. C. E. Hinson, Misses Mary Campbell and Cecile Cannon at the home of the former.
