CANNON, County Agent Clinton, sold from Laurens South American Visits Laurens County Dr. Sandoval, from El Salvadore, South America, visited Laurens county with R. D. Steer, Clemson College Cooperative Extension Marketing Specialist, last week to study the work of the Laurens Cooperative Breeding Association as he will have charge of the pro-1 gram in his country upon his re turn to his native land. After a conference W’ith the j county agent and Rufus Langston, technician. Dr. Sandoval was shown through the laboratory and then made field trips with Mr. Langston to observe the practical work of the technician. Dr. Sandoval ex pressed his appreciation of having the pleasure of visiting America and Laurens county. for $485.00. '' Richard Buford, highest priced bull coupty ,for $585. The average price of the top 39 bulls was $388. Of the 39 bulls, 21 were polled, averaging $498 and the 18 horned bulls averaged $260. There wdll be a Hereford sale at Greenwood March 24 of 40 females and 10 bulls. The show' at 9:00 a. m and sale at 1:00 p. m. The Angus purebred bull sale will be March 16 at 1:00 p. m., at Condors Stock Yard, Columbia. Good bulls are being sold worth the money at these purebred sales. National 4-H Club Week Laurens County 4-H club mem bers and local leaders are joining in the observance of the week of March 7-15 as National 4-H club week. These breeders were G. F. Buford Farms, Richard Buford, Carroll W. Cope land. Lawson Bros, Clinton; North clubs.
