L. Holley, was entertained by several friends. On Sunday the family came together for their pre- Christmas dinner honoring Charles and his brother, Pete Holley. About 25 friends and members of the fam ily were present. Sunday afternoon following the Youth Fellowship program at the Baptist church Mrs. Holley enter tained the 35 young people at her home on Magnolia street. Refresh ments of assorted home-baked cake, date rolls, fruit, coffee and tea were served. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Holley of Clinton, invited 35 young people of Ckvary Baptist church and Joanna Baptist church for a social hour on Wednesday. On Thursday Mr. and Mrs. Hor ace Hamm had the following for supper: Charles Holley, Mr. and Mrs. V. L. Holley and Mr. and Mrs. Pete Holley. Give Chicken Stew Last Thursday evening Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Atkins entertained for their son, Derrill, who is in the navy, with a chicken stew. Those attending were: Rev. James Mitch ell, Horace Hamm, Jr., Charles Holley, Billy Waits, recently re turned from Korea, and Derrell Whitmire. Derrell has just re turned to San Diego for further duty after spending a 14-day leave with his mother, Mrs. Clyde At kins, and Mr. Atkins.
