Meadors. of the Presbyterian college campus. Joe Dodd, president of the Student Christian Association, acted as guide for the group on the campus. As they visited each building the different phases of college life were explained [ and the trip was climaxed with re freshments being served during the open house held in the children’s di vision of the library. Melody Club Meets The Melody club met Thursday night, Nov. 15, at the community j building for a business session and supper. Mrs. Wallace Carr, president, presided over the meeting. Sev eral important factors were dis cussed and plans were made for a Christmas party to be given Dec. 20. At the conclusion of the busi ness, all members joined in pre paring and serving supper. With Tho Sick Mrs. Della Phillips was a patient at Hays hospital a few days last week. Otis Graham is at home and im proving after an operation at Hays hospital. Mrs. Homer Douglas has return- , ed from the Columbia hospital. Judy Chaney is ill at her home on Elizabeth street. Haskell Taylor has been ill at his home on Davis street. Rhythm Band In Parade The Rhythm band, under the di- j rection of Mrs Joe Land, partici pated in the Tom Thumb parade and had an exciting time.
