C, with Mr. and Mrs. Wil liam Rawl. On Sunday they vis ited at Lake Lure. Miss Franceen Smith spent the week-end with Miss Brenda Bar bee near Clinton. Mr. and Mrs. Mansel Bridwell and famliy of Honea Path, visited Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Trammell Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Glenn and son, Mrs. J. H. Seay of Green ville, and Miss Feroline Seay of West Clinton visited the Tram mells on Monday. Lillie Leaguers Honored On Thursday evening Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Young, Jr., presided at the punch bowls, Mrs. Mattie Harvey, Mrs. Harold Blackstock and Mrs. Odell Stone served cakes. The receiving line composed of Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Burdette, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Crocker, Elaine Crocker, Betty Sanders, Cornelia Roberts, Lamar Patterson and Cal vin Cooper, formed at the entrance of the lounge. Mr. and Mrs. Hor ace Smith entertained in the li brary, Miss Mary Johnson, Odell Stone in the lounge, and the guests were bid goodbye by Mr. and Mrs. Mark Windsor with Miss Patsy Windsor. Music was played throughout the evening by Mrs. James Pitts. Fol lowing the reception the members of the seventh grade enjoyed danc ing. Joint HoatoMM Honor Mrs. Davenport Mrs. Clyde Trammell and Mrs. Grady Smith were joint hostesses at a lovely party Tuesday in hon or of Mrs. Joe Davenport. The spacious Trammell home was beau tifully decorated in a color scheme of green and pink. Carnations and roses were arranged for the mantel and piano. The guests were invited into the living room where Mrs. Wallace directed games. After a progression of an active gams much fun was had with the old favorite, Bingo, played in a unique form. Several prizes were given and in turn presented to the honoree. Mrs. Trammell and Mrs. Smith were assisted by Mrs. Claud Trammell and Mrs. Joe Terry in serving home-made ice cream and cake with cold drinks. Thirty-four guests were present and Mrs. Davenport received many lovely gifts. The groom-elect, Don Edward Jones, of Clemson, is a teacher textiles. The wedding will take place June2 at Riverside Baptist church in Anderson. Miss Fuller is a niece of Mrs. J. W. Fuller. Out of town guests attending the party were Mrs. Ethel Fuller, mother of the bride-elect, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Clinkscales and Pam of Anderson.
