Ficklin, scoutmas ter, took 13 of the boys on an over night hike and all reported a grand time. Upon completion of the hike several of the boys qualified for their second class promotion. Several of the boys have started work on merit badges wheih are awarded scouts in specialized sub jects. There are 111 merit badge subjects from which to choose.
