He has held a num ber of important pastorates and his present pastorate since December 1940 Dr Harris is a popular after-dinner speaker for such occasions with an .•ppropriate bit of humor to enliven his message. For the past four years he has been writing a column for the Atlanta Journal which is vudely clipped and quoted. H. mg a former baseball player,| j Dr Harris is interested m sports . nd has won more than seventy trophies in golf tournaments. In his baseball days he was identified Aith the Georgia-Alabama.
