Ramage, Jr, and Miss Martha Ramage spent Sunday in Greenville as the guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Mahon. Mrs. W. J. Henry is spending some time in Leesville with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. R. F. Henry. , Dr. and Mrs. Stanton L. Collins of Carlisle, Pa., are spending several weeks with the latter’s sister, Mrs. i Thomas D. Jacobs. Dr. Collins has! recently received his discharge from! the army. Miss Lib Brown of Gilbert, who is attending summer school at Lander college, was the’ week-end guest of Miss Marian Pitts. Miss Pitts leaves Sunday for Camp Illahee, N. C., where she will be an instructor in horseback riding for eight wceks- Mrs. Raymond Clary of Spartan burg, spent the past week with Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Vaughan. Mr. and Mrs. C. (L. Miss Becky Hicks of Atlanta, Ga., was‘the week end guest of Mr. and Mrs. John William King. Charles Pitts and William Hatton spent the past week at Myrtle Beach. Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Boyd have moved into the home of Mrs. John W. Little on Maple street for the summer months. Mrs. Little is at tending summer school at Appala chian State college, Boone, N. C., for the summer. Mr. and Mrs. Lykes Henderson and children, Carolyn and Lykes, Jr., of Houghton, Mich,, spent several days during the week with the former’s mother, Mrs. L. S. Henderson.
